I am a traditional molecatcher. Nothing else.
When I first started The Molesmith back in 2007 I registered myself with the British Traditional Molecatchers Register (www.britishmolecatchers.co.uk) and found myself to be member number 4. Not including your standard “one size fits all” pest control companies there were 4 traditional molecatchers to serve the whole of the UK. From my base in Addlestone and making use of my touring caravan I found myself going as far as Dover, Chelmsford and even Plymouth to help people with their mole problems. Therefore, It´s not surprising to see that when you check the BTMR today there are hundreds of registered specialists. The UK is far too big for 4 people to cover!
However, not all molecatchers are born equal. I have started to see a worrying trend over the past couple of years of Pest Control companies presenting themselves to be Traditional Molecatchers in order to grab a piece of the market. This can be quite misleading and I would urge anybody who is seeking help with their problem regardless of whether you are in Surrey or anywhere else in the UK to look carefully before calling someone into help. I specialize in moles and moles only in order to give my customers the level of quality and service that is demanded and expected from a Traditional Molecatcher. There is a level of honesty that comes with being a traditional molecatcher and that is why I offer a No Mole No Money service. If I can not demonstrate that I have caught then you, the client, should not have to pay.
